As the Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will work on a wide range of equipment and provide a wide range of inspection, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair services within the Maintenance team to facilitate the efficient operation of the department.

Position Requirements:
Heavy Duty Equipment Technician – Journeyman Certificate.
Valid certifications such as H2S Alive, First Aid, and Fall Arrest, CSO etc.
CVIP license is an asset
Clean, valid class 5 license
Must be able to pass pre-employment and site pre-access testing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy duty mechanic role within the oil and gas industry
Minimum of 3 years experience with hydraulic systems; troubleshoot, repair and adjust complex hydraulic systems
Knowledge of diesel engine maintenance and repair
Basic computer skills
Ability to work in the shop, as well as work away in the field for extended periods of time during busy seasons
